RENTAL CONDITIONS
Rental of a Minibus implies acceptance of the general rental conditions found on the back of the contract given to you upon receipt of the vehicle.

WEEKEND DURATION
from Friday evening 7 p.m. to Sunday evening midnight, weekly, from Friday evening 7 p.m. to Friday evening 7 p.m. Subject to availability, it is generally possible to arrange other pick-up and drop-off times.

RESERVATIONS
The reservation is made upon receipt of a deposit of 50% of the amount of the rental, payable by check or bank card.

DEPOSIT
1 deposit / deductible check will be requested for €1000 for the vehicle.
1 check for €100 for cleaning if the vehicle is not returned clean.
1 check for the GPS TOMTOM €300.

MINIMUM AGE AND RENTAL CONDITIONS
Must be at least 18 years of age to rent a Minibus. A young driver surcharge of €250.00 tax included will be charged if you are under 20 years of age for all categories of vehicle and if you have had a driver’s license for less than two years.
You must have a valid driver’s license, identification, and proof of address.

INSURANCE
Insurance for the driver, passengers and luggage is included in the posted rate, tax included.
There are some exclusions which modify the insurance coverage; for more information, a brochure explaining the conditions and coverage is available in our office.

FUEL
The rates do not include gas.
Minibus vehicles are rented with a full tank of gas. They must be returned full. If the vehicle is not returned with a full tank of gas, a "Fuel" charge of €75.00 will be billed and your security deposit will not be returned.
It is possible to prepay a full tank of gas at the beginning of the rental for €60. This method spares you having to fill the tank before returning the vehicle to us. We will not reimburse you for unused fuel.

ADDITIONAL DRIVERS
The name which appears on the reservation sheet must be that of the primary driver, present upon signing of the contract and responsible for the rental costs.
Additional drivers are allowed with an additional fee of €25.00 / driver.
If during a rental, an incident occurs with a driver not declared at the office, the security deposit will automatically be kept and any additional costs incurred will be the renter’s responsibility.

TICKETS / FINES
Administrative fees of €35.00 tax included per ticket / fine will be billed.

CANCELLATION / NO-SHOW FEE
TRANSPORTS ET TAXIS JOËL bills cancellation and no-show fees of 50% on pre-paid reserved rentals.

CANCELLATION
If you wish to cancel your reservation for any reason, you must contact TRANSPORTS ET TAXIS JOËL and provide the information which appears on your confirmation. A cancellation is valid only if you follow this procedure.
If you cancel your reservation at least 10 days prior to your reservation, we will reimburse you in full. If you cancel your reservation within 24 hours prior to delivery, we reserve the right to bill you a cancellation fee of 50% of the rental to cover our administrative costs; this sum will be deducted from your reimbursement.

NO SHOW
If you do not cancel your reservation before the pick-up time and you do not pick up the vehicle on the departure date, we reserve the right to charge you a no-show fee of 50% of the rental to cover our costs and operating loss.
For reimbursement of your advance payment minus no-show costs, write to TRANSPORTS ET TAXIS JOËL, 8 RUE DU 11 NOVEMBRE 65800 AUREILHAN within 30 days following the departure date with your request and with a copy of your confirmation attached.

DELIVERY - RETURN
TRANSPORTS ET TAXIS JOËL offers delivery and pick-up of vehicles; this service will be billed based on a travel fee.

PAYMENT METHODS
Acceptable payment methods are major credit cards, check and cash only.
A credit card in the primary driver’s name is required to reserve the vehicle.
During the rental, a bank authorization is requested on your credit card.
Cash payments are accepted Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. for rentals. For information regarding the amount of the cash deposit and the conditions, please contact TRANSPORTS ET TAXIS JOËL Reservation Center.
For vehicle rentals, all major credit cards are accepted (Visa, Eurocard/Mastercard, Amex, Carte Bleue, Visa Signature).

GRACE PERIOD
The grace period is 29 minutes. Beyond this period, the customer will be billed for an additional ½ day as a late penalty.

DRIVER’S LICENSE
A “permis B ordinaire” driver’s license is sufficient to drive this type of vehicle.
|
TRAVEL TERRITORY
Rental vehicles are only allowed to drive in the metropolitan area and certain bordering regions, with our authorization.
If you do not respect this restriction, civil liability and all other guarantees will be null and void. In case of accident, you will be responsible for the total amount of any repairs, including the cost of repatriating the damaged vehicle.

FLUORESCENT VESTS AND EMERGENCY WARNING TRIANGLE
This equipment is required. TRANSPORTS ET TAXIS JOËL provides you with this equipment free of charge upon request. Additional costs of €25.00, tax included will be charged to you if this equipment is not returned to the agency.

DEDUCTIBLE
All rentals are subject to a deductible, set by the insurance depending on the category of the vehicle, for which you are responsible in case of damage to the vehicle, its parts and accessories during the rental.

RENTAL SURCHARGE
For all rentals for departure or arrival at an airport/train station, you are responsible for parking expenses.

NAVIGATION SYSTEM (GPS)
TRANSPORTS ET TAXIS JOËL vehicles can be equipped with a navigation system, available to you for a charge of €35 per rental. A security deposit of €300 is requested in case this material is stolen, lost or damaged, in addition to the vehicle deposit, and is returned to you upon return of the material.
Please note that the navigation system may be a removable accessory in the vehicle.

ANIMALS
Domestic animals are allowed subject to the vehicle being perfectly clean upon return.
|
TAXES
All rentals are subject to VAT at the rate of 19.6%.
